DAMSEL, book 1 of 3 ReviewOkay...so I'm the author, and as such: I'm a bit biased.But seriously, it's a great story! About a Damsel trapped in her dungeon by an evil Prince of the undead, wanting to marry her so that his undead seed can take over the world, mwa ha ha ha.
"Oh noes!" the reader thinks. Whatever will our damsel in distress do? Who will come to her aid? Will it be the bumbling cook who secretly loves her? Will it be the OTHER prince from a neighboring kingdom, come to ask for her hand in marriage. Well yes, as a matter of fact, they DO come to rescue her. Only their respective bumbling and arrogance get them ALL trapped in the dungeons, leaving the Princess to rescue all of them and defeat the bad guy herself.I call "Damsel" a novella because it's only about 32,000 words, but that's not to say it's thin on story. On the contrary, the book takes the reader to various exciting locals, including the cave of a two-headed dragon!
Damsel is a fun read that (if you don't take it too seriously) is sure to please all ages.
And for only $3.00 it's a steal.PS: Don't let the "part one of two" thing throw you either. "Damsel" is a delightful novella with charming characters, exciting events and fascinating locals: from the frozen honeycomb caves of Snowpeak Mountains to the depths of the lake of fire in the realm of the dead, you're sure to enjoy this quick and exciting adventure!
