Night Victims ReviewJohn Lutz is truly a Master of the Suspense Novel. Having recently discovered his novels, I have now read five of them and one thing is certain - they all follow a certain similar path through the discovery and take-down of the serial killers.
He has a formula and even though you know he follows it, you don't really know where he is going until the very end, when he chooses to reveal the last details.
Truly, he keeps you turning the pages, reading the story and the web he weaves, until you are captured, as much as his "bad guys" are!
This, like the rest of his works, is well worth the read. I ended up reading faster and faster, yet trying not to finish it too quickly. No success, as I kept going until the end, at which time I was both satisfied, and disappointed because there was no more to read in this one (of his books).
Read them all - I suggest in chronological order - and you will have enough great summer reading to keep you poolside, or surf side, for your entire summer.
