The Time Hunters (Book 1 of the acclaimed time travel series) ReviewI bought this book after reading a thread on the discussion board, and I am so glad that I did! This was the most enjoyable book I've read in a long time! As an American, it took me a little while to translate certain British terms in my head. And in the beginning I felt the adjectives were a little overboard. (Reminded me a little of old Nancy Drew books....as the slim sleuth skillfully backed her sky-blue roadster onto the tree line boulevard.....)
But all of this quickly became unimportant because I was caught up in the plot. What a rich story from a vivid imagination! I was drawn in, entranced by the story and characters. While this may be children's book, it definitely appeals to the older reader as well. The only downside for me was that it didn't last long enough!
